NEW BEGINNINGS’ RESPONSE TO COVID-19 and HOW YOU CAN HELP:
We have implemented the following steps to protect our clients and continue serving our community:

Education of clients about social distancing and proper hygiene

Provision of soap and paper products for proper hand washing
-
Regularly sanitizing commonly touched surfaces in all facilities

Screening all new clients pursuant to VA and CDC guidelines

Restriction of visitation and screening all visitors
-
Curtailment of meetings and meal service to avoid gatherings of large groups

Monitoring all clients for COVID-19 symptoms
New Beginnings is already beginning to feel the impact from the nation-wide precautionary steps being taken to slow the spread of COVID-19. We are experiencing a significant decline in donations, and the vast majority of our clients are no longer receiving work assignments.
