In every period of time there are those who stand in Judgment of others, regardless of how hard they try to change. Some of the worst criticism that you will receive will come from.

1.     Family

2.     Church members

3.     Friends, even close friends

​

I am sure the woman caught in the act of adultery could testify to what I am preaching today. Even though her accusers could not carry out the death sentence because of their own sins, I am sure she was never forgiven by them or her husband.

 

The scars of sin can only be washed away by the blood of the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.

​

Your sins are forgiven and forgotten by the Lord himself.

​

Psalms 103:12 "As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us?  13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him."

​

1. It really doesn’t matter what humanity still thinks of you.

2. It doesn’t really matter about how they criticize your New life.

3. What matters is I AM FORGIVEN.

 

I know that sometimes when people say bad things about the changes in your life it hurts, especially the ones you love and respect. I know when you came to God you thought everyone would be as happy as you are and you wanted to share your new experience with everyone,

• But a lot of people will not accept the change you are making.

• But I am forgiven. I am a new creature in Christ Jesus because I can feel the change, the old me has passed away and the new me has come alive.  Because “I am Forgiven.”

 

My new Father loves me so much that if I fall he will lift me up.

​

So if you fall tell your enemy what the prophet Micah said in chapter 7:8 "Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me."

​

Tell the world you may not like my new life.

​

• You may criticize everything I do

• You may even call me a hypocrite when I make mistakes

• But I am forgiven!

• I’ve been washed in the blood of the crucified Lamb of God all my sins have been washed away. I am a child of God.

• Nothing you say, nothing you do against me will prosper because I am a child of God.  "I AM FORGIVEN!!"

 

Don’t be offend by criticism, don’t be on the offence, Jesus says in Matt 5:12 “Rejoice and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.”

Tell them “I AM FORGIVEN!!”

 

Isa 54:17 "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD."

When people speak evil of you remember “God is your refuge and strength and God fights your battles and if God be for me who can be against me. I AM FORGIVEN”

​

1 John 2:1-2 The Apostle John writes these encouraging words to the children of God.

​

1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: I AM FORGIVEN"

​

2 "And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. I AM FORGIVEN!"

​

1 John 2:28 "And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before him at his coming."

​

People that are in the world, people who will not accept Christ and follow him have no business telling you how to live for God because they love the World not God.

​

1 John 2:15 "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him."

​

1 John 3:7-8  7."Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous."

​

8 "He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil."

​

That’s why We are forgiven!

​

Tell someone I have been born again I am Forgiven!!

 

John 3:17-18 "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

​

That means I am forgiven!

​

18 "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

​

When you fall in love with God, you want to do whatever it takes to please God.

​

Let me say this when people criticize you it is because that the Spirit of God is contrary to the spirit of the world and Gods spirit bears witness against the world.

​

They know what they are and it convicts them of their sin.

 

John 3:19-21 19 "And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. But you are Forgiven."

​

20 "For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved."

​

21 "But he that doeth truth cometh to the light that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God."

​

• Keep making changes it shows the world you mean business,

• Let the world see Jesus in you the Hope of Glory.

• You are now a witness for Christ if so be it that Christ is in you.

• I am FORGIVEN!!!

 

The world cannot change a Born again believer in Jesus Christ.

​

But we are to help change the world through our testimony that Christ is in us because we are forgiven.

​

John 8:36 "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."
