New Beginnings of Tampa
New Beginnings of Tampa runs a large Transitional Housing and Homeless Recovery Program that provides unaccompanied women, men and young adults over the age 18 with a safe place to live and an individualized, gender-responsive program of guidance and job training programs to help them stabilize their lives. A large percentage of our clients are U.S. Veterans, persons who have bravely served their country.
First, the clients most immediate needs are for shelter, food and/or clothing. Once there, they then begin to address other issues that may have contributed to their homelessness: mental or emotional health issues, substance abuse, confinement or probation within the judicial system, family and other relationship issues and/or the inability to maintain employment. The people who come to New Beginnings of Tampa are highly vulnerable; economically, physically, psychologically and socially.

New Beginnings Transitional Living
New Life Church provides emergency shelter for people in crisis. New Beginnings Emergency Shelter is located at 8535 North Nebraska Ave. We house up to 50 men & women on a nightly basis. Admission depends on availability. The men & women attend New Life Church's Sunday services and the Wednesday Night Bible Study. There is also a LIFE SKILLS Class held at the mission on Friday nights at 5:30-6:30pm that everyone is invited to attend.

Community Outreach
A FREE BBQ Lunch is offerd in the New Life Church Parking Lot once every two month at 12pm-1:30pm for families in our surrounding community. Everyone is welcome! We invite you to get to know us better, while enjoying a delicious meal. Of course, prayer will be available. We do offer a caring nursery as well as an interactive and "On Fire" Children's Ministry EVERY Sunday at 9 & 11am and 6:30pm. This lunch will give you and your child a chance to meet us, as well as our Children's Ministry Elders. We look forward to seeing you at one of these family friendly events.
